Kevin and Gail went into business as a result of losing jobs practically at the same time due to Corporate Down Sizing. Kevin was the Chief Operations Officer of a Logistics Company in Indianapolis, IN. Gail was working for a Diagnostics Company in Fishers, IN. After trying to rebuild and replace their jobs in a downward spiral of the economy, the only thing they could do, is what they were best at, Customer Service. Kevin having 25 years in Transportation, Gail 16 years in Customer Service with a major world wide Corporation, they started the company with the Customers needs first. They started by purchasing a Tractor Trailer, driving across the country and in 2009, started their Landstar Agency. They begin with serving customers whom they built relationships with across the country. In 2011 they received the Star Performance Award at the Landstar Convention in Orlando. They were recognized for Growth, Safety and Customer Focus. When their customers were asked what set CES apart from other Logistics companies, the answer was, they listen.  Their plans remain the same today as they did when they started the company, focus on one load at a time, one customer at a time, and be "On Time Every Time"
